Today while I was working, I got a little tired around 2:30 so I plonked myself on the studio couch and took a nap. I got like half asleep and then got up around 3:15ish and carried on. Adult nap time? Underrated.

Your body’s circadian rhythm has a natural dip near 1:30pm and taking a 20 min nap right around there has made me feel so much more energized for the rest of the day. It feels like a hack.

All naps are not made equal. The Friday afternoon nap is the most powerful nap ever invented and should be mandatory for everyone. There’s like a 75% chance you wake up and have no idea who or where you are, but I promise it’s the lil boost you need to head into a lovely weekend. 20 mins minimum. Bonus points if you’re still on the clock.

It’s September! Fall boot time! Today I wore my suede burgundy ankle boots and proudly walked into work…the only one not wearing sandals. I don’t care if people aren’t “ready” for boots. I am!!! 😊😊😊
