Hi! i used THZ to find my first 2 spots in the city, its a great facebook group with thousands of ppl. there are roommate search posts (e.g. looking to fill one space in a 5 bed house), personal intro/ in search of posts (e.g. hi! im rebecca! im looking for a condo downtown!) or specific unit searches (e.g. im looking for 2 be 1 ba in kensington)

facebook (womp womp) groups have admittedly been a lifesaver when i was subletting. i attached a link to the group i was apart of when i found my Bushwick sublet! i was able to get a year sublease as well (: good luck and happy hunting!

but tbh my roommates and i just used apartments.com, DC is very renter-friendly so it's not too hard to find housing even without a particular lead

Context: i am feeling reflective after running a race yesterday and finishing slower than i had hoped.
Putting in work to achieve a desired outcome, but coming up a bit short... you still worked hard and made a valiant effort! Go you!! You went for it and, all things considered, probably did a great job objectively; everyone else is likely in awe & wildly impressed by [insert achievement here].
