sit in a circle, everyone has a piece of paper (and maybe everyone has a pen, or one pen that gets passed, and a surface to write on).
the first person starts by writing a prompt - it can be simple, eg the name of a famous person, or a simple action, eg pumping gas, or it can be complicated, eg a famous person pumping gas and downing 5 fireball shots and vaping.
they hand their piece of paper with the prompt to the person on their left, who then has to draw the prompt. they hand their drawing to the person on their left, who has to write down what they see.
this repeats until it gets back to the person who wrote the original prompt, who reveals what they wrote and shows the group how itās changed around the circle.
itās best with 6+ people, and great for all ages (as long as they can read and draw).
one time i was playing with a group of my cousins and one cousin wrote āwhy am i here?ā and we all had to go around and write then draw āwhy is (x) here?ā and we all knew what it was because it was clear she didnāt really know or like us. we kept making her play games with us until she liked us more and 15 years later weāre going to her wedding this week so letās just say this game changes lives and brings families closer?
