Around a month ago, I read somewhere that if one is feeling down (whether this is physically, mentally, or spiritually), eating some vegetables could help. I can also vouch from the experiences of myself and others that a yummy veggie can bring balance and happiness to one’s day. Therefore, whenever I cook for others, I make an effort to either include or feature a thoughtful vegetable, as a well-seasoned token of my appreciation and my love for them. A vegetable to show I care!
