When I find one I immediately put it into a small mason jar where I also keep clumps of her fur that fall off when she scratches herself & whatever else I find that once belonged to her. When the day comes & we can clone cats, I will be so thankful for this collection because I truly can't live without my kitty.

I found her at a family gathering about 7-8 years ago. The previous lady who was taking care of her & a colony of feral cats moved away, leaving her without a consistent food source. She hung around me the whole day, soaking up the sun from a lawn chair while occasionally stealing some of my mac & cheese. That day I ended up taking her home, now she’s my whole world. Since then, i’ve started studying all things cat (especially feline behavior), working at animal shelters, occasionally fostering, & volunteering at other animal shelters + different pet retention services. She’s taught me so much & has given me the motivation to be better everyday. I don’t know what i’d do or be without her.

I found them under a shed in a junk yard. I used to regularly go to the junk yard to feed the colony of cats that live there, unfortunately I don't leave near there anymore, but I do have my friend feed them now. I was hesitant about taking them at first because I knew there mom was near by and the place I lived didn't allow pets, but they were sick and some of them had so much crust on there face they couldn't open their eyes. I took them to the vet and for the next week I feed them with syringes every 3 to 4 hours. it was hell and I never slept but I loved them more than anything and I miss them alot. If you are wondering what happened to them they went with a foster through a rescue, now they have all been adopted. I loved helping them, my friends loved them too. I miss them everyday, I hope to foster more cats. There names are damon albarn, bjork, thom york and gerard way

Ever since I quit nicotine I don't deprive myself of a cigarette when I feel like I really need it. So it hits different, because when my emotional state is low all it takes is a cig break to feel like I'm confronting whatever it is that's weighing me down. This system is fool-proof. Sometimes I think I'm low enough for a cigarette then decide I'm not quite sad enough. So when I do smoke it's because I'm crying & absolutely losing it. Because my smoke breaks are spontaneous, I can't quite plan for them, leading to unfinished packs & a plethora of lighters. Funny enough, each lighter coincides with whatever was making me feel awful that day making it a journal of sorts for my feelings. My fav is the "take me with you" lighter because well.. I really related to that when I bought it. There's also something really protagonist-y about walking into a gas station, eyes puffy & tears streaming down your face & asking for a pack of camel menthols ... oh & a swag lighter.

You really get to feel every feeling possible for a human to feel with this activity- Suspense, excitement, regret (from being a shopaholic), impatience, frustration (when the package suddenly stops tracking) and MORE! Every morning you get to wake up & check the tracker, offering a similar feeling to waiting to get a text from a crush- except it's a message from USPS giving you an update on your package. Wow. There's so many emotions, so many feelings. Then you get to wait for the USPS truck, looking out the window at all the cars rushing by wondering, "Is my package in that vehicle?". I live SO close to my post office so I am in suspense all day as there's hundreds of USPS trucks that drive by & it's such a rush! Then you get to do it all over again when you order something else. I'm currently tracking only one thing (trying to be good this month).
