Seeing a movie at 10:20 in an empty theater

Random day off so I decided to catch an early movie. Yo I love this. All to myself and I’m kinda half awake. Doing it sober lil weird tho. Only other time I did this was seeing C’mon C’mon smacked outta my mind and I cried most of it. Good times.

The shining

Got to see a midnight screening of The Shining at the Angelika when I was in high school. So so cool experiencing movies that came out like 20 years before you were born in a theater with other people 🫢 tied with Donnie Darko (also a midnight screening) - watched this movie many times on a laptop so the big screen was an upgrade. also it came out when I was like 2 years old so i was super excited to get to watch it in a theater and pretend it was 2001

I recently got one for my bday and now every time I bake I feel like Betty Crocker. It also has my name on it so I’m p sure that gives me extra credentials. Side note: Always thought her name was Betty Crocket. I learned smth new today x

Nightlife is an entire subculture that i feel disconnected from at times. i always have fun when i go out. meeting so many interesting ppl i never would’ve met otherwise. i should do it more and so should u 🫵🏽
