pumpkin pie
i love anything and all things pumpkin, and itโ€™s definitely not limited to pumpkin pie. i have lots of wonderful memories baking it growing up and i have perfected my recipe over the years. i also love oyster dressing (stuffing), which is a recipe that has been passed down on my dadโ€™s side. iโ€™ve never seen it anywhere except with my family

be a little weird
i feel like social media has made us so self-aware of our actions/habits/behaviors. we are thinking of what is cool or trendy or desirable. we are too afraid to be cringe! to be stupid! to be lame! the best community i have found is the people who are not afraid to like what they like & are proud of it. do the stuff you always wanted to try. the people will follow.

journaling!
this is only a habit i have picked up in the last year, but it has made a world of difference. i will write about things that i am thinking about or stuff i need to do or just chronicle my day. i just find it very grounding or like a reset to my thought processes.
