olives and coffee—can’t get into either of them. Maybe you need a mature palette to like them but I don’t think I’ll ever mature at that rate
I used to hate olives- (funny, considering I love dill pickles and anything vinegary) they were just too strong for me. But unsurprisingly I grew to love them. A good jalapeño stuffed olive with some cream cheese goes a long way for me.
There was a period of my life when I was very sick and couldn't eat anything interesting (couldn't even have bread). After two months when I could finally eat things with flavour again, I found that I loved food I used to hate, olives being one of them.
Moral of the story, if you want to like all food, get a stomach ulcer.
the day i knew id transitioned from baby adult to teenage adult was when i started eating olives with the bread and butter they give at restaurants
what is it that you like about them??genuinely curious I’ve tried so hard to acquire the taste but I just cantttt. Maybe if I have something to look for in them I will change my mind😩😩
queenmisandrist you can put them on your fingers and pretend they’re fake nails 💅🏼 makes them taste better
queenmisandrist I’ve hated them my whole life, and recently just started craving something tart, so I bought a jar to try and ate half the jar. Just one of those things that you thought you hated and then you find out your tastes have changed
