Well thought-out analysis into the deeper meanings of some of our all time favorite games, and what makes them so appealing and, at times, so draining to play through. My favorite so far has been ā€œThe Unmistakeable Humanity of The Last of Us Part IIā€. If you havenā€™t seen it yet I highly suggest you do, even if youā€™ve never played the games nor intend to.

This dude Tim Rogers deeply expands upon the concept of a video game review and turns it into an epic, emotional, and worthwhile saga. Better than pretty much any TV show I've watched this year. This one's focuses on a game called Boku No Natsuyasumi. It's about a little boy who goes to visit his family in the country.

Something about someone just kinda rambling about a video game makes me really sleepy and its so comforting to wake up to the guy still just talking

Video games have really interesting and cool stories and fun ways of telling them. When I was a kid I wasnā€™t very good at video games but my older brother was. I remember how fun it was just to sit and watch him barrel through levels. When he left I missed doing that so I tried to watch letā€™s plays on youtube, but they just werenā€™t really for me. Even as a kid I just didnā€™t really love the constant like screaming and stuff that they tend to do while playing, there were some guys who didnā€™t talk a lot or yell while they played but not a lot, so over the years this was something I just never did anymore. But recently Iā€™ve found there has been a spike in comepletely silent playthroughs getting uploaded and I love to watch them, theyā€™re like oddly paced movies with tons of action. The ones Iā€™ve been really into watching lately are the SilentHill and Psychonaut games itā€™s a lot of fun and really nostalgic so check ā€˜em out (also the soundtracks always go hard asl)

It can be so silly at times. Last night I was picking out what to wear to sleep and chose a shirt that belonged to my late uncle, which I had avoided wearing for the longest time, anyways today my father texted me that itā€™s actually the anniversary of his passing and I donā€™t know why but I laughed and it just made me feel like no matter how long heā€™s been gone heā€™ll still be with me. Just have to pay attention to the small things :)
