This movie was so cool to me as a kid. Hulk was my favorite at the time too. I loved how it implemented body horror and monster movie elements here. The fight scenes were so grisly and funā€¦ I vividly remember cringing when Hulk choked Abomination out with the chain links. The special features on the DVD were cool as hell too. Deleted scenes, character bios, CGI breakdowns (my favorite part). Oh and the CGI for Hulk was absolutely insane tooā€¦ They had some R-rated scenes they cut like when Bruce Banner went to an isolated location to shoot the hulk out of himself. Very dark but this was done in a comic run before if I remember right. Anyway, I think Iā€™m partially just nostalgic for this movie but I kind of miss the uniqueness each Marvel movie had back then.

Answering this a little differently. Thinking of the best theater experiences Iā€™ve hadā€¦ I never got to see The Iron Giant in theaters, but I watched this over and over growing up. One if the greatest animated movies of all time. My indie theater screened it this summer. I got to sit with packed audience of parents my age with their kids. I got to hear these kids laugh, and gasp, and ask questions, and hear parents whisper answers. I was choking back tears in the first 15 minutes because I was already thinking of the end. What a gift. Runners up: Carsā€”saw it at a small theater in a small Texas town overflowing with kids and parents. Dads were standing up in the aisles along the walls wearing their jeans, boots, and cowboy hats. Everyone was having a ball. Thatā€™s the cinema, baby. Get Outā€”Got to see an early test screening, and my friend and I were the only white boys in the room. We had horrible seats but the experience was amazing. Incredible audience interacting with an exceptional movie. Iā€™ll treasure it forever. Sorcererā€”Knew shit about this movie when I walked into the theater. Me and the rest of the audience were stunned when we walked out. Altered our brains.

I think this guy may be my new favorite artist. Talented as hell. I appreciate when an artist is involved with every step of the music-making process, down to the visuals even. Produced, mixed, mastered and performed all by one person. Huge fan of his production and how it blends elements of WWE entrance theme style rock music, 80s hip hop, obscure samples from the internet, grimy ass drums, R&B, etc. The list goes on. Anytime a new song or album drops I can expect nothing but pure ear candy that scratches that hard to reach itch in my brain. The only other artist that really does that for me is Death Grips but they can be a bit overstimulating and hard to listen to at times I wonā€™t lie. His merch goes hard and his website design is cool as hell too. He dropped a ā€œValentineā€™s Day ā€˜25 Freestyleā€ thatā€™s been in constant rotation for me, and I recently treated myself to the Directorā€™s Cut Vinyl of his last release for my birthday. Good shit!

I used to collect these from the laundromat machines as a kid. 25 cents for a random figure with tons of personality. I loved the artwork and the silly characters. My sister and I got so obsessed with them that Iā€™d ask my mom to buy lots worth of these off eBay back in 2005 so I could try and collect all the series. They even had a bobblehead series I thought was groundbreaking at the time haha. Discovered the website as a kid and how theyā€™d have bios for each character and tons of artwork. I think this was a big influence for me to start drawing back then. Currently rediscovering them as I came across the original artistā€™s instagram and heā€™s still making merch/figures! Pretty cool/niche interest Iā€™m tapping back into.

I have an IT background but wanted to try this profession out while Iā€™m still young. A lot of fun, a bit harsh hours but the crew and human interactions make it worth it. The brutal 7 month training was ASS but Iā€™m so glad I did it and graduated.
