Many people write journals, but then they also have other things they want to write down, maybe a poem or things that don‘t really fit into a strict diary. May I present to you: the ever trustworthy everything-book! I personally had one ever since I wanted a place to store my poems in. Then I started to add things I wanted to write down that where important (wisdom). Then I added some recipes, then finally a diary and lastly (for now at least) I added a dream section. I find it important to still keep order in the book though or it will be of no use. I recommend a DIN-A4 piece of paper, though I do not know if this is a commonly used term in other languages besides German. If not, then I mean: Use a big notebook, about the size of a normal sheet of paper. This will be useful as you will have way more space. You want to try to somehow have different sections even though you probably don‘t know how many pages each one requires, as it is work in progress for you. But I think you could guess that journaling requires lots of space. You should probably also try to write the more important things in there, maybe not some random thing like a quick note that you‘ll only need for a few minutes. Imagine how useful an everything-book will be! Want to look something up? Grab the ever trustworthy book. When you die, people will have much information about you and it will be very interesting for them. Why would you care? You‘re not in your body anymore.

just about everything that happens to you will be interesting to your future self/your descendants/archaeologists. immortalise your to do lists, shopping lists, packing lists, things that loved ones say, things that strangers say, the phrases you hear that would make a good band name. brainstorm what to do on the weekend, list your cravings, the songs stuck in your head, transcribe birdsong, etc. i track my periods & my finances in my journal. sometimes if i really want to take a photo of something i'll restrain myself and draw it in my journal instead. sometimes i take notes for uni in there, or draft sewing patterns, or sketch when im bored. journals are self-portraits!!!!!!!

I love putting my feelings on paper, it helps me to know that they’re real. Plus, I have way too many thoughts, I can’t hold all that in my head. Some things are best left in a notebook than in the body. I have an incredibly warped sense of time, so I sometimes reread journals to remind myself of what has happened in my life. And wow, there’s nothing more powerful than a preteen’s unbridled emotions and Ashley you will pay for what you did in the 5th grade. If I die and someone finds all of my journals please publish them, there’s some good tea in there and I’m not afraid of burning bridges in the afterlife. Get a good pen, find a nice notebook, and put it all down.

Yes you read it right ! Vomit in that journal -not literally tho- It will your personal journal right ? You are the only who will read it -if you ever get back to it as a time capsule- right ? So instead of overthinking, write it, what i mean by that is (here comes the prompts) - Write a future letter to your self and glue it to your first page with an envelop. - Make a pixel calendar (make a grid with all the days of the year, choose a colour palette for each emotion) and at the end of everyday colour each square with the most dominating emotion. - Write what would your perfect off day be like (weekend off work/school) - Make a physical table to rate your current watching list (finished a movie ? Write it, mention the time frame, which day, rate it from 1 to 10, highlight of the movie was it fashion, emotion, cinematography etc…) - Don’t do a to-do list replace it with a Done list, each time you accomplish something no matter how big or small write it in the Done list. - Make a About me page (what do you like, eat the most, favourite time of the year, fav clothing piece) - Write your Ins and Outs of the year/month/week - Get to know yourself and write about what drains your energy and what boost it If you have a printer you can make it more fun by : - Printing your most repeated song of the day/week/month - Printing your currently reading books and physically rate them - Printing items you are saving up to buy If no printer then just draw it, it doesn’t not need to be “perfect” make it fun, colour it :). Collect whatever you get from the coffeeshop, grocery shop, movie theatre etc .. why ? Well imagine you went to watch a movie, keep the ticket, glue it and write about it. found an interesting package ? Cut it to small piece and glue what catches your eyes and write about the reason. Went to an event ? Museum ? Collect the little books/flyer and glue it and write. You can make it fun as much as you feel like, the important thing is that Journaling is made to make you feel relaxed and destress your emotions so don’t stress about it and remember ! Just VOMIT in that journal. 🤣🫶🏽

I‘ve always felt passionate about breathing and for the last couple of days (currently 7) I‘ve done it all the time. Literally every few seconds. Please don‘t come at me with addiction or whatever, I like it and I don‘t think it has gotten out of hand yet. Sure, I also do it in my sleep, non-stop, but I‘m sure it‘s fine. It just rejuvenates me. Anyone else having a streak right now? Or maybe someone who doesn’t breath? Tell me your experience with it.

Please don‘t do it. It fucking sucks. I wish I didn’t do it. Now I owe an old friend of mine 30$…

What y’all know bout the hard cider challenge? In this challenge you will be subsidizing all your liquids with hard cider for a day. You start in the morning with hard cider about 2% abv, and as the day progresses you switch at noon to hard cider with about 5% abv. Like this and I shall try the challenge and report back to you. You can try it as well. Bonus points if you do it on a work or uni day.
