love this video, have watched it a million times. showed my mom it in a bank lobby and told her i wanted to be him - she wasn’t stoked on that but she liked with his vibe. reminder that life can be so chill and pure and that money doesn’t have to be at the centre of anyone’s goals or happiness. still and always trynna be like him :)

once a year , i rewatch this video . when i first watched it , i was 17 years old , very scared for her , but still , i envied her because she had the guts to do it . i was in my last year of high school, scared as hell because I was clueless about my future , and the only thing I wanted was to be an artist and paint all day . little did my young self know that i chose a totally opposite career path , haha. but still , i hope this girl is okay ; i hope she is safe and happy . i wish i could say to her , "thank you ," because even though i did not become an artist , I totally rocked my bald head a few years later . she gave me the guts lol

Y’know, like comfort media. The kind of thing you find yourself coming back to every year. Maybe it’s nostalgia, maybe you’re sentimental, or maybe it’s just good for a laugh. I came across this again the other night, after not seeing it for a few months. Was reminded that I’ve been watching it sporadically every year for half a decade now. The algorithm seems to send it to me a couple times a year and every time it does, I’m reminded of how much I love it. Maybe it’s the atmosphere. the first 4 minutes of birds chirping. the greens and blues that radiate off the screen. Maybe it’s just the music. But everytime, without failure, it makes me hopeful. Optimistic about everything still coming. Do you have one? I can’t be alone here. share it, if you do. I’d love to watch it and hear about what makes it special to you :)
