thank u Cam for rec-ing this to me. I'm not a big reality tv person (kind of a shocker, no?), but Traitors is soooooo good wow. it's a mafia/vote people off the island-type show but the people on it are from all different reality tv shows (housewives, the challenge, big brother, survivor, drag race, etc.) and it's randomly hosted by Alan Cumming and it's like weird Clue-themed and in Scotland with crazy accents and costumes in a Knives Out-ass house and the editing is truly out of this world funny.

Just so good. The game is basically Mafia or Werewolf or whatever you call it- but hosted by Alan Cumming (who is constantly serving sickening lewks) and set in a stunning Scottish castle with a gorgeous landscape. And the cast is reality TV royalty!!! Just say the names Peppermint and Parvati Shallow and I'm in.

I’m not usually a competition show person but I’m loving this — Alan Cumming is transcendently good as the host, with his fancy Scottish outfits and bright blue reading glasses and DRAMA!
This show also makes me think about the famous prison experiment where some people were cast as prisoners and some as guards and they literally had to end the experiment early because the guards got so power crazed and cruel.
Don’t worry the Traitors does not reach close to that level of twisted, it’s just fascinating to watch the dynamics and strategic game play, and makes ya think. And it doesn’t hurt that it’s set in a literal castle.

Every January I binge all of Madonna’s music and I’ve come to my conclusion that my favorite iteration of Madge’s music is when she goes for a more somber midtempo semi-ambient moment (I don’t think I’m describing this accurately, but What It Feels Like for a Girl, Drowned World/Substitute for Love, you could maybe even throw Get Together on here). I think it’s just an exciting lane for her because I think of her as this loud and brash figure, so when she goes for a quieter and more laid back moment it’s really attention grabbing. Woah!!!! I totally queened out writing this. Check please!

ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS EVER!!!! “No Ordinary Love” is a hypnotizing opener and “Like a Tattoo” and “Kiss of Life” are classics. Also check out the Kelela cover of “Like a Tattoo” it’s pretty faithful to the original, but I just love Kelela
