Reframing boundaries as a way of holding myself accountable. Not setting boundaries with someone who knowingly may disappoint me. Instead establishing one with myself with the intention to assert my agency. This can also prevent the opportunity for me to potentially shift blame onto someone who is not responsible for my own actions. (Note: this is NOT applicable in every instance. boundaries are important and can be enforced however necessary! this is my own personal reflection)

Do it! Say no! It’s hard but things do not depend on you as much as you’re thinking they might! It’s not that serious. Disappoint people. Stay home. Ignore messages. Do what you wanna do

When you don’t have the energy to do something, when you feel that someone is trespassing your boundaries, when you are not sure about something and know you will be tired from trying it, when you don’t like something, or when you think it would be polite to say yes, when you have a bad feeling, when it doesn’t align with your values.

Then we realized it‘s because they figured out the hawk that hunts from our roof wouldn’t attack them with us there. I hope they tell the bunny family we are stellar guards. I wanna whole coterie like a Disney princess.
