Whenever you have a few minutes, rip a sheet from your journal, jot a quick note to a friend, makeshift an envelope (origami that shit), slap a stamp on and BANG you’ve made someone’s day. Your own too, probably. Plus you’ll always be the person who had a stamp when someone roguely needs one

Nothing is sweeter than spontaneous mail!! Go to your local post office, buy some stamps, sit down, monologue your current feelings/thoughts/ideas/drama/complaints on paper and send it off. If you're lucky, your friends will write you back and if you're like me, you can hoard every letter you've ever received and then read them back and revel in your own nostalgia.

Sometimes you’ve just gotta call it. Not everything has to be an ordeal! Then you feel so independent and anonymous-in-a-good-way as you stroll to the subway and back home
