Self care has always been an important form of meditation for me. Taking the time daily to water or style my Locs has been so fruitful in that regard. I’ve had them 7 years in March 🥹 they’ve taught me so much about myself, and I plan on continuing to grow them as long as I can maintain their health.

If you have something in your life (literally in any form) that brings you outside of yourself and brings you to a state of peace, hold on to that. Realize that this is your form of mediation and stick to it regularly. My life is moving very fast and I lose sight of those things sometimes, and when I do I go insane. Right now my meditation is being in Ableton or Blender but I want to get back into regular mediation in nature since Ableton and Blender are also my career now lol.

I’ve been meditating consistently for the first time in over a year and I feel like a big part of it is finding a good mix of traditional meditation and activities that put me in a meditative state (going for a walk, bird watching, water colors, reading tarot)

I started meditating in honor of David Lynch’s passing, and I’ve kept up with it in my morning routine because it’s been so beneficial for my overall mental health! Doing a 10 minute guided meditation on Headspace or YouTube is worth your time and with enough practice, you WILL start to see results in your day!!
