Okay rapid fire highlights of the 8 houses from my first 18 years (idrk how that happened lol) 1) The bay windows I put my stuffed animals on as a display 2) the scary geese standing between me and the community playground every day 3) My princess canopy that I tried to swing on and tore down & the walls of the playroom that I painted so thickly that they could never get the stain out 4) My under the staircase harry potter inspired ā€œsecretā€ hide out 5) The creek out back & the carpeted staircase with my fav carpet material Thatā€™s all the nostalgia I got left

All of my journeys and people iā€™ve met on the walls with unique furniture iā€™ve collected that has found me throughout my life, warm and mainly reminiscent of my childhood home. No real aesthetic just life, lots of different patterns and plants on every shelf along with books and an abundance of physical media. Basically where I would want to be raised as a child. Keep in mind this is my final home I would take my last steps in not exactly my college apartment or something of my early days. Similar to Gilmore Girls home, or even the Call Me by Your Name house!

Double response bc i love this question! im an interior designer and I work in high-end residential which means I see the intimate parts of a lot of peopleā€™s homes which is pretty wildā€¦. two highlights include: 1. An important 20th century painterā€™s crazy art-filled townhouse, where they filled the powder room sink with plastic snakes 2. An extremely famous coupleā€™s house where I saw, on the momā€™s dresser, a copy of The Care and Keeping of You, which means their celebrity daughter is learning about puberty the same way I did šŸ„¹

Iā€™m not sure about the exterior - maybe an old apartment in Paris or NYC, maybe a traditional little house in coastal Italy, maybe something else entirely. Inside, to sum it up, eclectic. Furniture and decorations Iā€™ll have gathered over the years, the best things will have a story behind them. Thereā€™ll be books in every single room, and somewhere to actually sit and read them. While Iā€™m at it, same goes for music, record players or a radio or an instrument in every room. Stationary and arty stuff everywhere, too, Iā€™d like to be able to create as soon as the mood hits. Also, a really nice tv with shelves near it that will hold an extensive DVD collection - physical media everywhere! Pictures on every wall, regardless of if they have any sort of relevance to each other, just whatever I think is cool. Plates and mugs and cutlery and stuff will all be mismatched, the only common theme being ā€œI think itā€™s cuteā€. Plants everywhere. Warm lighting, preferably mostly ambient. Plenty of blankets and cushions and rugs (all the floors will be wood or tile, no carpet). Some sort of cool feature, like a balcony, or maybe a window seat. Oh my god, the things Iā€™d do to have a balcony!! Completely maximalist, but in a balanced way - cozy, not overwhelming. Nice windows, also. The vibe is teenage girl meets chic grandma, but also the kind of thing my friends would see and say ā€œomg thatā€™s SO you!!ā€

I donā€™t think bananas should count as a fruit. Thereā€™s no juice? And Iā€™m not sure I would describe them as sweet? But itā€™s also def not a vegetable. So idk

You know that window of a few minutes right when you wake up in the morning where your thoughts havenā€™t all loaded yet? These days I enjoy silence as a more affecting thing than a lack of stimulus. Like itā€™s not the absence of noise, itā€™s the presence of quiet. And it feels nice on your ears if you tune in.
